Required audition for Honors students; optional for Symphonic/Concert students. $15 cash turned into Money Box in Band Hall.

Oct 16: Houston Symphony Trip Fee Due (FYB)
Optional trip for FYB students. $10 cash turned in to Money Box in Band Hall. Trip outline will be handed out to students in class.
Oct 16: Football Game Performance @ KHS Tiger Stadium (H/S/C)
Hard copy Itinerary will be distributed in class on Oct. 2nd. Itinerary will also be sent out on HAC and Remind. If interested in volunteering, click HERE.
Oct 18: Spring Trip (Fiesta TX) Payment 1 Due (H/S/C)
Optional trip for H/S/C students. $40 partial payment OR $110 full payment. Submit deposit form, cash or check payable to “WCJH BBA” to the money box in the Band Hall.
Oct 18: Pep Rally @ WCJH (H/S/C)
3:30pm
Performing Band students will be released from 7th period to assemble their instrument and perform at the pep rally. Uniform is Informal: RED 24/25 Band t-shirt, jeans with no holes, sneakers. Double Major Grade Performance. If interested in volunteering, click HERE.
Oct 25: Band Picture Day (ALL)
All students are required to arrive in class already in uniform. First-Year Band: Informal Uniform. Performing Bands: Formal Uniform. Details regarding required uniform components can be found in the Band Handbook available under “Resources” on the band website. Photo order forms will be sent home. Oct 29: Fall Masquerade Concert @ WCJH Competition Gym

Required Double-Major Grade Performance for all Performing Band Students. First-Year Band Students are invited to attend as audience members and participate in the costume contest! Candy/prizes will be awarded for the top 3 costumes in each category. Details to be distributed via hard copy in class, HAC, and Remind.
