Oct. 6: Region Audition Fee Due (H/S/C)

Required audition for Honors students; optional for Symphonic/Concert students. Payable HERE.

Oct. 9: Spirit Morning @ Shipley Do-Nuts

Oct. 11: Football Game Performance @ Rhodes Stadium (H/S/C)

Itinerary distributed via Remind. Volunteer HERE.

Oct. 13: Houston Symphony Trip Fee Due (FYB)

Optional trip for FYB students. Payable HERE.

Oct. 13: Spring Trip (Fiesta TX) First Payment Due (H/S/C)

Optional trip for H/S/C students: $50 partial payment OR $110 full payment. Submit cash or check payable to “WCJH BBA” to the payment box in the Band Hall.

Oct. 20: Pep Rally @ WCJH (H/S/C)

3:30pm

Performing Band students will be released from 7th period to assemble their instrument and perform at the pep rally. Uniform is Informal: BLACK 23/24 Band t-shirt, jeans, sneakers. Double Major Grade Performance.

Oct. 27: Band Picture Day (ALL)

All students are required to arrive in class already in uniform. First-Year Band: Informal Uniform. Performing Bands: Formal Uniform. Details regarding required uniform components can be found in the Band Handbook available under "Resources" on the band website. Photo order forms have been sent home OR you can place an order online at www.image2c.com.

Oct. 27: KHS 8th Grade Night @ Legacy Stadium

All 8th graders attending KHS are invited to travel to the stadium and perform with the band in the stands. Students will stay after school and work on homework until the bus arrives to take us to the stadium. Parents are invited to attend the game (tickets available at katyisd.org) but cannot enter the band area to see their student.

6:00pm, pizza @ Legacy Stadium

6:40pm, march in

7:15pm, kickoff

~8:15pm, watch KHS halftime performance

~8:30pm, load bus/depart for WCJH

~9:00pm, dismissal @ WCJH

Oct. 30: Fall Masquerade Concert @ WCJH Competition Gym

Required Double-Major Grade Performance for all Performing Band students. First-Year Band Students are invited to attend as audience members and participate in the costume contest! Candy/prizes will be awarded for the top 3 costumes in each category. Details to be distributed via Remind.
